Numerical and experimental analysis of the effect of eccentric phase difference in a rotor-bearing system with bolted-disk joint

Bolted joints are widely used in industrial rotating machines to fasten the adjacent disks together and affect system dynamic properties. Therefore, there is a strong need study their influence on response of such systems. This paper investigated effect eccentric phase difference disk bolted-disk joint rotor dynamics, which takes into account time-varying bending stiffness bolted joint. The modeled as two-node element based upon energy theorem Lagrange’s principle, where relative lateral displacement stiffness, coupling between considered. And then model rotor-bearing derived proposed lumped mass modeling method. Combining with Newmark-β integration scheme, established allows characteristics be predicted, impact investigated. validity simulation results was confirmed by experiment. Through method this obtained results, bifurcation can predicted.
